Carnival Market (Fasnachtsmarkt) Langenthal

Carnival – a time of wild gaiety, merriment and exuberant high spirits. With over 160 stands, the Langenthal carnival market (Fasnachtsmarkt) is the largest market of its kind in Switzerland.
The carnival market is held in the Marktgasse and the city center.

Themed Markets Huttwil
Huttwil, the "Little City of Flowers," has been a market town since the late Middle Ages. Various themed markets are still held there today.
Intricately decorated eggs are displayed at the Easter egg market two weeks before Easter, and a rich variety of cheeses are presented at the cheese market in the fall.
The medieval handicraft market exhibits age-old trades. Besides the sale and demonstration of old crafts, the market features a program with various medieval activities.
Huttwil and the surrounding area takes on a cozy holiday atmosphere with its romantic Christmas market. Visitors savor the fragrance of winter, the candlelight, music, stories, tasty treats, crafts and good company.

Flügerchilbi, Bleienbach
This traditional annual flight festival isn't just something for airplane enthusiasts – it's an event for the whole family.
Each fall the Oberaargau gliders' association holds a flight festival at the Langenthal airfield in Bleienbach. Visitors will be delighted by the interesting flight routines, entertaining festival atmosphere and culinary specialties.

Italiauto, Wangen a.A.
Italian cars and collector's pieces are displayed each May in the delightful surroundings of the charming town of Wangen an der Aare.
Once a year, vintage Italian cars of all makes and sizes are displayed at various historic sites in and around the town center.
A special exhibition features exclusive cars, and the most beautiful vintage car is awarded a prize at the Concours d'Elégance.
